Associate and Analyst opportunities –
requirements
The ideal candidate will come from a major investment bank or consultancy and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He / she will have at least 1.5 years of experience and no more than 4 years in Natural Resources and Infrastructure. Excellent technical skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a client facing role. Although the majority of the firm’s mandates are International, deals are Natural Resources and Infrastructure related; hence, specific language skills are not required and only London based applicants will be considered.

Additional Analyst opportunities exist for recent graduates interested in our specialist Natural Resources and Infrastructure practice. We particularly welcome applications from those with engineering degrees and newly qualified ACA/MBA/Law qualification levels. Applicants with no prior experience in Natural Resources and Infrastructure must possess an excellent academic record, with strong numerical skills, and must be able to demonstrate a keen interest in our key sectors. Experience of financial modeling is advantageous.

To apply please send a copy of your CV in English and in MS Word format, along with your salary expectations
to careers@lb-capital.com.
OUR STAR ALUMNI'S TESTIMONIALS
Varun Shah, Director, Alix Partners
"I was brought on as a Summer Associate at LB Capital while pursuing my MBA at the Simon School, University of Rochester. From day one I was handed the responsibility of working on high value deal models in the Energy Sector. The team at LBC trusted me to complete my project with a high level of autonomy that I found refreshing, but were available every step of the way to provide guidance when asked. My internship at LB Capital jump started my career in professional services helping me secure a position at a top tier consultancy. LB Capital's team continues to stay engaged with me as an alumnus and has always shown a genuine interest in my long-term growth."

Preparation
Our recruitment process is built upon our belief that a candidate’s fit with our entrepreneurial culture is as important as the skills and the experience she or he brings to the firm. Your objective should be to gain insight into our culture and clarify why you want to work at LBC, what you might want to do at the firm and why you would be well suited to do it.

Interviews
The purpose of the first interview is to help us to get to know you, determine your suitability for a particular area of our business, and for you to ask questions about us. Your second round interview will be more technical in nature, and we will continue to assess your compatibility with the firm.
